Acuity was never great

Acuity was never great, but now that it's been acquired by Squarespace, it's awful. The support might as well be in another language. The system is impossible to program for multiple services without one service blocking another. It's literally costing me clients every day. And, it's NOT free... it's over $250year.

Acuity now Squarespace - lost its edge

Now that Acuity is with Squarespace the customer service has dropped dramatically. It's no longer a personal service and not longer supports businesses adequately. Today, everyone and every business needs a trusting, speedy, customer service not one that operates in the dark ages at a snail's pace. No wonder so many are switching to other scheduling platforms.

All I can ever ask for in a scheduling app.

PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

I initially chose the free version just so I can get a feel of the environment. Now I’m ready to commit to a more premium subscription!

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Learning new apps don’t always come easy for me and Acuity was no exception.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

This keeps my life organized in manageable timeslots. Thanks goodness for Acuity.

A supertool that is both easy to use and customizable

PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

I’ve managed to acclimate to Acuity Scheduling’s environment quite easily. Everything is easy to understand and all its appointment scheduling features are great too!

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Still in the learning curve. I’ve only recently started using this tool, so naturally, not all commands will be familiar to me.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Whether my clients want to schedule an appointment or want to cancel one, I don’t have to manually note all these anymore. I just get notified of the changes and that’s it—I don’t have to do anything else except prepare for the appointment.

Small businesses will find this a gem for scheduling.

PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

This software is relatively easy. The one thing that I like with it is its affordable pricing. The business I'm running literally involves me. Acuity either charges me a monthly cost of $10 or a yearly price of $110.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I don't like how its mobile app works. It's not really something that you call an "app." You're actually going to their site through a browser. A shortcut is available to access their "app.'

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I'm trying to find a way to get my clients to schedule their own appointment. I also want them to make gift certificate purchases. I want them to do both on my website. Now I can do that!
