I do not recommend Airwallex
I do not recommend Airwallex. Our company has been operating since 2002, now in 3 countries yet our application was "declined without reason". That's fine, we'll continue paying our remote staff using Payoneer, and certainly won't recommend Airwallex to any clients.

Don't bother
They're clearly choosy about their customers, but hide that behind references to regulatory requirements. The application process is intrusive, far more so than that of any bank I've dealt with. They seem to interpret their "obligations as a financial service provider" as a license to demand whatever documents they see fit.The customer service people are quite pleasant though.

I repeat the review. The last one was deleted because I didn't have time to provide additional information due to illness.Last review:Disappointed with wasted timeCouldn't work with them. A month later, my application was refused without explanation. Either I am too small for them, or they were confused by my citizenship, but my business is registered in the USA with all supporting documents. A month of time was wasted. Although it was written in several places that the application is considered within 3-7 days. The support service responds quickly enough, although the information they provide is mostly useless. Just a rejection for no reason.Yesterday, one of the largest corporations of the world mistakenly banned the accounts of Belarusian developers, citing sanctions. It took less than a day to understand the mistake, restore everything and apologize. Good luck.

Definitely would recommend Airwallex if…
Definitely would recommend Airwallex if you do a lot of international transactions and also domestic UK transactions.The enrolling process was straight forward and they would require further documents depending on your company structure.I am loving their payment link option. Only wish if they could default it to GBP instead of USD.

Airwallex is the worst fintech company. Period.
I've dealt with companies in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia and I can confidently say that Airwallex is the WORST company I've ever come across.I opened an account with them late last year. The account was for my UK company. Four months later, the account has not been approved and Airwallex has not bothered to tell me why.My inquiries to the company have gone unanswered.The crazy part of the whole thing is that there's no provision for closing an unapproved Airwallex account. You can't use the account and you can't close it. Your info and profile will be on the Airwallex website, serving no useful purpose and waiting for a clever identity thief to pounce on it. Don't waste your time with this company. There are better alternatives out there: Wise, Revolut, Tide, N26, Grey and countless others.Airwallex is all air and no substance.
