What are the best aspects of this product?

I've been using this tool everyday for the past few years. It helped me work on a number of audits in areas with data integrity problems.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

While it's deemed to be user-friendly by many. It's a tool that I'm not too familiar with. It took a bit of time to get the hang on how it works.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I make use of this tool to audit my telecom-related data. It helps me spot any deviance in the system and troubleshoots things quickly. The process of automation is handy with the created modules and auto-generated reports.

What are the best aspects of this product?

Transferring and sharing data between servers is such an easy task to accomplish with Alteryx helping you out. Actually, manipulating, pulling up large databases, and migrating them to other platforms is now no longer a daunting task. Everything is accounted for and you can be sure that your data will remain intact during the transfers.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

We’ve had to cut down on the number of users for this tool because licensing can be very pricey.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Consolidating all our data files (from various sources) has been so much easier and quicker thanks to this tool.

What are the best aspects of this product?

I really love the multi-functional benefits that this solution offers. Each and every tool in the kit has a purpose--to either segregate, merge, weigh up, or analyze data, among other things. By far, this has so much more benefits than the regular excel platform. I really like how it can clean up my data files too.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I admit that it is quite difficult to get the hang of using this tool. However, resources online and training from the makers themselves are not lacking, so you know that you can always get your answers from somewhere.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

One favorite tool that I like to use is the Fuzzy Matching function. What this does is to check our data of prospective clients and scrub out those who are also on our converted sales bucket. This way, we don’t keep targeting the people that have already purchased our services. Needless to say, we’ve now managed to identify the disconnect on our sales reports because of this. Alteryx has now become my go-to tool for manipulating the data that we have because it works much faster, and it is more intuitive.

What are the best aspects of this product?

I like how this tool is so intuitive. Drag-and-drop tools allow for a simplified workflow building. I love watching the progress while workflow is in operation.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I appreciate the fact that this tool offers a lot of things that make everything intuitive and simple. But the one thing I don't favour is the lack of mapping capabilities.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I'm working with Alteryx for the purpose of spatial-centric analysis of data. The standout benefit with the tool is the efficiency it can provide in terms of input and output in a wide range of data formats. Without Alteryx, I wouldn't know what to do.

What are the best aspects of this product?

First of all, to compare this to excel is such a disservice to this tool. Alteryx can do so much more with your data--from providing solutions to complicated issues all the way to providing you with an in-depth analysis of your data.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There are still quite some functions lacking in Alteryx. If the developers would just make a few tweaks to this program, maybe it will work better and faster.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We’ve managed to gain insight into our data, regardless of its size. Alteryx has helped us break these down so we can glean insight from our database.
