PROS & CONS
What are the best aspects of this product?
The facts that it can deploy to multiple platforms in one go, produce web-based apps, is entirely cloud based and has a code editor are all very promising features.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
The WYSIWYG interface is appalling. There is no undo/redo option, and if you place a grid for example, then delete a cell or an element inside a cell and your format is ruined, you have to do the entire grid again from scratch. This is neither productive nor logical.
I feel that from a visual development perspective, this product is MASSIVELY lacking and it is not even closely worth their asking price, let alone is it suitable for enterprise development.
If you are looking for an easier way to prototype functional apps or create MVPs, this is most likely NOT the solution you want, unless you are really at an entry level.
If you are looking to build fully-functional production apps, then this almost CERTAINLY NOT the solution you're after, unless you explicitly stick to the "Ace Editor", in which case I can think of at least a dozen alternatives that are more effective (take any of the most popular cloud-based IDEs for example).
In addition to this, as soon as the company makes any kind of "update" to their platform, it becomes completely inaccessible without warning. This is definitely not good when you're in the middle of something.
In my opinion and 16 years of development experience, avoid this platform at all costs.
What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?
WYSIWYG: undo/redo; additional elements (there are less than 30); more control over elements; more control over placement.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Absolutely none.
Are you a current user of this product?
Yes

EASY TO DEV HYBRID APP WITH GREAT BACKEND SERVICE
PROS & CONS
What are the best aspects of this product?
. great front end IDE with well structured API towards backend services (database and server scripts)
. full possibility of custom programming (not only client app but also including server scripts)
. easy to get started with Java Script language for all customizations
. one development allows you to burn both Android and iOS files
. backend includes also a notification service
. well documented plateforme with good help staff always available
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
all JS coding and MongoDB backend prevent from working with PHP and MySQL. However, AJAX APIs are possible, therefore services can be called.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
very low development and implementation cost
Are you a current user of this product?
