What do you like best?
Ease of processing payroll and setting up GL account numbers for the General Ledger report. Timely responses to questions from APS. Report generation is quick and accurate.
What do you dislike?
Sometimes the pay dates are not available because of holidays, although I understand this is mostly due to the Federal Reserve dates for direct deposits.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
APS is easy to set up and to use as well as being very cost effective.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Easily train others to use APS if I am not available and support from the APS team. Our payroll processing costs have decreased significantly over our previous payroll provider.

What do you like best?
I love the chat feature that allows you to quickly submit a request to your account team. Any time I have an issue or have a question, I can quickly message my team and they get back to me ASAP. The message feature is much more convenient than having to locate the contact number. I was in contact with the team quite a bit during the beginning of the COVID-19 shut down and were definitely a valuable resource during that time.
What do you dislike?
I haven't found anything that I truly dislike about the payroll system. It is easy to use and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
APS Payroll Solution provides any and all reports I may need; from payroll journal entries to reports that need to be sent off for worker comp audits to end of the year audits for retirement contributions. I know that if I have a problem or any questions, I can call up my APS team and they will help me ASAP.

THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS PROGRAM IS THAT NOT ONLY IS IT EASY TO USE BUT YOU HAVE THEIR SOLUTION TEAM RIGHT AT YOUR FINGERTIPS, SHOULD YOU ENCOUNTER ANY ISSUES.

I USE THIS SYSTEM FOR HR AS WELL AS PAYROLL. ITS USED TO ADD EMPLOYEES TO OUR COMPANY SO WE HAVE MANY USERS THROUGHOUT AND EVERYONE RAVES ON HOW EASY IT IS TO USE.

"Ideal Payroll Tool for a Small Businesses"
What do you like best?
I like the integrated TimeKeeping and Payroll modules. It is easy for employees to enter their hours from remote locations. It is easy to use and the Customer Support is top-notch.
What do you dislike?
Some of the fields for deductions and earnings are not as customizable as I would like; for example, 401K match contribution percentages are tricky to adjust from the Admin side. I want more customization between employees who are W2's or 1099's.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We have been able to integrate payroll, timekeeping, and performance management into one system instead of paying for three separate services. It has really streamlined operations and we are saving on these types of expenses.

Customer Service is top notch. Everyone I've worked with has been excellent.
What do you dislike?
Sometimes the response time with just one person has been slack.

I hated the state filings. Now they do them for me. Also, the HR piece works for us.
