With Automat we were able to turn a normally flat user experience into something more engaging to the end consumer and gathering data on how we can better serve our customers.

The time was long to get this up and running and lot of back and forth - but truthfully that comes with any new partnership and development.

Solving for customers asking what types of products are best for them through customer service outreach when they can chat with the bot and get their answers they need almost immediately.

What do you like best?
Automat is a strategic partner to us thanks to their industry expertise and ability integrate with our tech stack. They are adaptable, friendly and understand our 3-year vision for the chatbot we are developing now. I recommend them.
What do you dislike?
Automat did not provide the UX/UI design support we need to launch our chatbot. That said we have internal resources and did not expect Automat to help in that area of our project. The biggest drawback has been that Automat is still working on a product feed, which is important to us because we have a portfolio of 100+ products.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My advice is not specific to Automat. The more direction you have and the more you understand your needs, the better off you will be before deciding to partner with Automat or any other vendor. Our needs matched Automat's capabilities, so our partnership has been very positive so far.

Automat has been an excellent partner in building our brand's first Messenger Bot. Their deep industry experience specialized in beauty helped us jump several steps ahead and streamline the process. They were able to help shape our goals for the experience to be in line with an ideal beauty consumer user experience.
Automat also was INCREDIBLY responsive at every hurdle we encountered. They went above and beyond building out connections to other vendor's tools and overhauling the messaging tree based on late game feedback.

Adapting the messaging in the decision trees was a manual process that was a bit hard to track. The documents are set up intuitively for the automat team, but not as easy to navigate for our team. They

- Bring in ALL other vendors that need to integrate into the tool early and FULLY vet their capabilities and limitations to get a clear understanding about who will need to build what to support a healthy integration.

Bringing our shopping, education and diagnostic tools for Bobbi Brown's foundation/complexion product offering to the consumer in a streamlined way - allowing her to choose how and what information she wants to access. We aim to have this serve as a more effective consideration phase ad unit and also help boost our first party data on customers skin concerns and natural language.
