What do you like best?

I use both the iPhone and Web app of Circula. Its integrated into our company expenses process and for me as a manager its very comfortable to approve expenses of my team. Personally, when filing my own expenses, I really like the Scan and OCR features in the app. My workflow is as follows: Scan the bill as quickly as possible and file for later in the iOS app, and pick it up once per month in the Web app to file the expense for approval by our finance team. By using the OCR most of the required fields get prefilled automatically, so its easy for me to complete the process.

What do you dislike?

In some fields the UX in the web app could be approved, as it feels not so intuitive to me. For example, sometimes I need to recollect where to find a specific information (e.g. in which step of the approval process a specific expense is) because I use the web app so seldomly (around once per month).

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I dreaded the process of expenses filing before. My main concern was the repetitive process of filling out forms with data that are on the expenses, as well as printing forms and attaching paper bills. With Circula its really easy and all digital, so Im glad my finance team did make the decision to implement this software. I even recommended it to friends (self-employed & executives/managers in larger companies).
