"Powerful API Integration and Management"
What do you like best?
Cloud elements is best for:-
-Prebuilt API integrations.
-Building and managing element instances.
-Mapping and Transforming Fields with Virtual Data Resources
-Build and manage rich formula instances and templates
-Robust System logs and review metrics (API logs, Event logs, Element metrics, Formula metrics etc.)
-SSO Authentication
Brownie Points:-
-Tech support was valuable and the response was quick. They understood the problem and provided right paths to solve the same.
-The API documentation is pretty organised for each element instance.
What do you dislike?
Cons of Cloud Elements include:-
-Couple of places where it lags in UI . Some pages like formula executions get loaded slower.
-Sometimes realtime updates and sync wont get loaded and have to wait for a few minutes to get it loaded.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend to growing SaaS startups powering integrations.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We use Cloud Elements for seamless 2-way sync between various applications.
By this our customers can sync the data between our product and a third party app.
This also has many prebuilt api integration which can be used seamlessly for integrations.
Building VDR's and mapping fields to it are easy and with very good event management.
Reusable formula templates help us to sync, migrate data between applications.
It also provides, formula execution logs to identify any issue that might occur.
Best part is logs and metrics provided by them which includes api logs, event logs, formula metrics, element metrics which allow us to monitor and identify issues related to specific accounts.

"Evolution"
What do you like best?
The power of communicating with completely differents CRM's just using one API.
In a VDR mapping, when you click in "Try it Out", I like how complete is the info that you show now. Although I miss a little bit the simplicity of the previous version.
What do you dislike?
Is very very very slow navigate into the different pages. For example, when you click in "Instances" or in a VDR mapping, the load pages time is a little bit painfully.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Integrate/Connect differents CRMs with the services of my company.

"Powerful tool, under continuous improvements"
What do you like best?
The amount of connections and elements that are available, the great customer service and the quick help when we needed it.
They added some new features in 2020 that solved some issues that we planned to solve on our end, so it saved us some months of development.
We usually ask for help with using some elements or we request elements that we really need and they are always willing to help.
It supports an intensive use of the API and the system has been reliable since the beginning.
They provided us with a staging environment so that testing, early implementations, and experiments can be easily carried out.
The custom JS of the VDR feature let us agilize some minor changes that would take weeks if we had to do them by changing code.
Security is another important factor here. They ensure all the communications with their sustem is secure and they use a lot of different security tokens to make sure that the requester has sufficient permissions to do any action.
We don't use formulas or conductor, but we tried those features and they are amazing for advanced use cases or automating complex workflows in an easy way.
Cloud Elements is a platform with an incredible potential. I wish I had this tool for personal projects out of work, so that complex tasks can be transformed into easy ones!
What do you dislike?
Sometimes, the API did not work as we expected, but they worked hard to fix the issues around the platform and we cannot complain about anything now.
However, the UI is not the strongest point of Cloud Elements. We get frustrated very often due to some issues with scrolling, closing popups, real time updates... And we always end up using their own API to check data and set up configurations because it's faster than using it.
The elements API changes sometimes and we don't know beforehand (e.g. they add/remove some default entry points that we might add if we know it some weeks ago) so we had to implement some integration tests to be aware of any important API changes.
The use of some features can be a bit difficult at the beginning and the public documentation is not enough sometimes. This made us contact them directly to ask basic questions that could be written in their knowledge base.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give them a chance if you are willing to learn the paradigm and to start integrating with a new API. I would especially recommend Cloud Elements if you have a long term project to use them. I don't think a project that uses Cloud Elements can be done in a couple of days, but it will vary depending on your use case, of course.
If you decide to start, take your time on testing the platform and make sure that you understand everything since the beginning.
Take a look to their knowledge base before starting a new project and read the API Docs whenever you start using them.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We want to connect with lots of different platforms and a standardized API helps us a lot.
We only have to know one API point and Cloud Elements does the rest.
Tools like Bulk API, VDR, and events are really useful for our use case. It simplifies our job substantially.
Thanks to these tools, we were able to translate all the APIs of the platforms we wanted to integrate with, so that mapping, downloading data and the bi directional CRUD is super easy once we get it working.
The bulk feature let us download all the data on the elements servers so that we can start syncing their data with our platform's data.

"Super Integration Platform"
What do you like best?
Easy Integration with number of popular systems. It has support to a lot for external systems which other alternate solution does not have or lack them. One of the most beautiful part is that the mapping of the fields where user can customize the mapping to any extend and another aspect which I like it that it is purely cloud wherein the changes made the to connection are deployed at runtime and requires not deployment and user can see the results of the changes instantly. It is fully resilient and almost pretty fulfill and provides the solution it is meant to provide. Recently it had entered into agreement with SAP to build the connection allowing customer to directly connect thier SAP system which is unique in extend that there are very less alternative of this kind.
What do you dislike?
When we tested it we found that most of the connectors on this platform are new and so not much of the testing is done on then we had figured lot of bugs with the connectors.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are purpose it to quickly connect to external systems with the intention of looking for a already build platform/solution which cloud elements already support, I recommend using it. However if you are looking for generic platform where you can customize the platform itselft for you own you you should look for other options.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We need to connect multiple external system from our software which cloud elements provide the solution with connectors. The platform itself was very flexible and dynamic allowing us to configure and connect to the external system to any extend.
