"Cludo support experience"
What do you like best?
I was investigating an error related to Cludo search for my client when I contacted Cludo to look into it. The response from Cludo was swift and positive. They were able to pin point the root cause of the error and eventually fix the issue.
What do you dislike?
The timezone difference between us and the Cludo team can be frustrating at times since sometimes we want quick resolution of the issues. However, the response from the Cludo team is quick so far so we haven't reached a point where we are not getting responses on time.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Cludo has made positive impacts on our work with easy to integrate search functionalities.

"Excellent dashboard features and easy to use"
What do you like best?
The analytics, the list of tools available in the dashboard to improvise the search functionality are really helpful.
What do you dislike?
Nothing big to mention. Few of the minor issues we faced in the search output has been fixed by the excellent, proactive Support team.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We have around 9000 different pages in our Documentation Website with several publications, sub-publications and different versions of them. It's very complicated to fetch relevant content for a search term using various different scenarios and categorize them with proper filter settings. Cludo's configuration setup extremely benefits us in this matter.

I can see certain less technical folk struggling with the crawler settings and so you need some extra technical support. Luckily they are very responsive and fast turnaround

What do you like best?
Cludo's interface is fairly easy to use. Easy to tailor results and set rankings.
What do you dislike?
Site search performing poorly is our most-received complaint about our website from our users. They expect it to perform just as well as Google or Bing. Cludo has said that the largest reason we're seeing poor results is because the quality of our content (my team consists of two people and many web authors creating content for nearly 20,000 pages).
It seems that my team and I have to practically tailor every result to make sure it's returning relevant pages, and we frankly don't have time for that.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely evaluate your options. Google and Azure both offer very competitive offerings, especially considering their price points.

We had an aging Google Search Appliance that we were using beyond its EOL. The appliance had a very sticky cache and it became unreliable when crawling pages.

What do you like best?
Cludo search is fast, efficient, user and administration friendly and has excellent customer service. They continue to add features and improve their platform.

Nothing to dislike thus far! Very responsive customer service, which is not common.
