Cornerstone On Demand is very flexible, and has responsive customer support

What are the best aspects of this product?
The reason why I recommend Cornerstone to every business is that I've seen it perform flawlessly for all sorts of learning management needs. It can definitely go beyond expectations, because it is open for customization in almost every aspect. The customer support is also worth of respect: you get live Success sessions, online communities, a success manager appointed for your company, a geographical group and attendance to an Annual Conference of users. We really need all of this due to the accelerated changes in ou industry. Cornerstone has showed deep appreciation for our needs, and that's exactly why I like working with them so much.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
If you want to make the most of its features, you'll have to learn a lot. The curve is complex and time consuming, even if I honestly think it is worth. There must be an admin, or at least somebody that knows the basic features, otherwise you'll stay far behind their innovation tempo. This is a dynamic program, and you have to follow every step of its development in order to benefit from it.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Many of them. I remember having an archaic database of trainees and their records, stuffed drawers, and an incredibly incapable Led Instructor. Now that we work with Cornerstone, the bandwidth has expanded: we offer all sorts of training modes and we attach diferent formats of training materials. On the administrative side, Cornerstone did a very good job with organization and delivery solutions for specific audiences. I have to highlight that it is very simple to use when you know it, and it keeps communication at admirable level.

What are the best aspects of this product?
If you faced support issues sometime in the past, you will join our happiness parade that Cornerstone actually exists! We turned to Customer Support before and after we implemented it, service was awesome both times. They appointed a Success Manager for us, and the guy knew what he was doing. He stayed connected afterwards, I remember, he was trying to make the program more business-specific for us. I think we'd been good even without it, we had access to materials and learning modules, and everything we needed was there. Once again-it doesn't change too much, becase you can always call them and ask. As simple as that! We use it for learning most of the time, and waht is really impressive is how it performs reporting and creating courses. Proxy and dynamic registration is also great, same for approving workflows. However, forgive too much details, remember just that everything about Cornerstone is...amazing!
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
We create the ITLs easily, because there is a copy function, but we can't print the rosters, and that's a bit annoying. We need to print rosters for every session, thas's a lot of work, and we really need to be able to do it.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Enhancing learning management was our original purpose, and I think we got that. Employees are more engaged than ever, they like how trainings are automatically approved even for exempt participants. Another problem that we solved is self-registration, there is a great feature that makes it possible. More and more employees are being trained per day, we know that because we have accurate reports scheduling efficiency, participation, and run times. In general, we are becoming more productive, and I like that a lot.

What are the best aspects of this product?
I just adore how they never stop looking for improvement and advantages in all aspects, especially my favorite Talent Manager. The best part is that they do this based on their customers' opinions (I had mine considered too!). One thing is for sure-they know that the best way to improve productivity is to work side by side with customers, and to discover what they need. In order to achieve this, they even enable customers to share ideas and to communicate, they've developed special forums and modules for the purpose. You can attend their Annual Conference, or appoint a separate meeting with their Client Success Centre. With this being said, I'm sharing my most honest opinion that Cornerstone will be the masters of LMS for many years ahead, and they have my full support to do it!
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It may take you a couple of attempts to release a function and to decide how will get to see it. Still, I can't complain, because we had Global Product Services before and I know what it means to be unable to resolve tickets. CSOD is trying hard to improve service in this aspect, and we are convinced it will. After all, we never had a failure or a serious issue to contact them about, they do everything perfectly.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We have stakeholders all around the world, and we are trying to expand our reach even more in the years that are coming. As the global tool that it is, CSOD allows us to work in all countries and languages, and it provides for multiple quality relationships that keeps sectors united and stakeholders involved. That is the biggest problem CSOD solved for us.

What are the best aspects of this product?
There are many features, many functionalities, and most of all tools that help you discover those functionalities. Support is the cornerstone of Cornerstone, meaning that they are always there to help and to provide guides and courses. The courses are very specific, and you can choose the one you think it's relevant for your work. You are also entitled to participate in their webinars, use online customer support, and you're being appointed a special success manager.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
They are good to solve a problem when you mess up, but not when the system messes up. You discover a bug and notify them, but the most common answer is that they couldn't recreate the problem, or they simply return your support ticket without an explanation. It makes me feel both irrelevant and confused, especially when I have to wait for their answer for hours. In terms of functionality, you receive it one piece at a time: Instead of updating the entire system at once, you have to go step by step, risking to miss an important part that cannot be recovered.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Shifting from manual work and papirology to automated processes, that's definitely the biggest benefit. I am mostly glad because of automated forms, aknowledgement policies, reviews, courses, records, reports, and events. I also think that the system is very flexible, and that's one of my favorite features.

Robust, reliable, customizable system with huge support community

What are the best aspects of this product?
This is organized and flexible solution. A friend of mine has recommended me this product and I contacted them and they were quick to respond. I like that the product has great support team starting form sales to implementation to on-going customer service. As far as I can tell, I have great experience with its customer support service.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It has steep learning curve for how to use this system and I have found it little bit complicated and difficult to figure things out by myself.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We managed to replace our old learning management system that couldn’t keep up with these modern times. Cornerstone is robust, flexible and reliable solution that is able to handle eLearning better and on new level. Also, there are great way to manage email and to pull reports.
