"Decent Online Timesheet System, Easy to Use"
What do you like best?
It's a quick and easy online time sheet system. GUI is decent and doesn't require a lot of training. Easy setup to integrate with our payroll provider (We use ADP but they support others as well). Timesheet web site is stable and easy for users to figure out. That leads to a low cost of ownership as we get very few questions from users.
What do you dislike?
Fairly basic system, not a lot of options or a great UI. But it gets the job done and has been a good system for us.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We use it to provide online timesheet services to our entire company. It works well. Minimal setup to integrate it with our accounting system and very little training required for our end users. It's been our system going on 10 years with minimal problems or issues.

Ability to pull reports once data is entered and approved by relevant party
What do you dislike?
It totals hours each day; there should be a functionality where you can toggle back and forth to enter into a calendar view (ie: from 8-9am i did this, 9-9:30 did that, etc.). Maybe even the capability to integrate with an existing calendar (Outlook, Google Calendar) to pre-fill this item.

What do you like best?
Most organisations need to understand the time variability of product delivery and keep tabs on due dates that are important for business and this makes this software a must have. i enjoy working with DATABASICS Time because it has a very simple and easy interface complete tracking tasks compared to what is on the current market. the developers of these application offer webinars that help us understand better how to work and accomplish tasks. the after sell service is great and any one can always get up to speed in no time.
What do you dislike?
because this application is robust, it has a few notable glitches for example data exist an lives in many places, this makes it difficult to have a single delete function.

Dong get scared of trying this application out. it has a free demo trial period so check it out when ever possible.

Time tracking and management, as a company we need to know an estimated particular peace of work will be due so as we give our clients an almost factual and realistic time frame. helps us keep our set targets in mind.

"easily submit my reports."
What do you like best?
I have been using the app since almost a year now, and I still don't find it tedious to submit my time every day. The reason being -- how quick and simple it is to use the app. I have added the clients and time codes I frequently use to my favorites, and in literally 4 clicks I can submit the time. If I need any assistance, an email or call to the support team has always been helpful. The promptness and the flexibility of the team is applauding. If you like traveling, then the cover pictures will make you wonder what are you doing in front of that screen. The app that my previous employer used for time tracking would make me wait until Friday to do my time-sheets or until the deadline was approaching, but with Databasics I can do it every day with so much ease. The software is user friendly. We are able to train managers within an hour on how to use DB. Being able to adjust a report before reimbursing is a breeze and the validation makes it much easier to keep up with per diem for our managers.User friendly! The admin functionality is very easy to navigate. The application flags policy exceptions for offshore audit team as well as approvers in the 4 level approval flow. Split screen capabilities allows audit team and approvers to view receipt attachments at the line item level. The application handles ALL interfaces/feeds from Amex, HR, PRS system and SAP. The Jasper reporting tool used for budgeting, T&E Spend and exception reporting. support is very helpful
What do you dislike?
System can be improved with minor tweaks those will have huge impact for users. Most of our users are used to simple and non-complex system. this system has many features those confuse users. specially the non-tech users. Mobile app Has continuous errors I attempted to use this app for the last several weeks and it continuously ends in an "error" message or just freezes when I attempt to submit my time sheet. Each week I'm sent an email stating my time sheet has not been submitted, even though I got a message stating it was "validated" on the app. When I log into a computer it still says "on hold". It's a stupid waste of time in my opinion, and I will be deleting it from my device. So much for convenience.

Databasics has been a project that was implemented slowly and cautiously as most of our contractors are not up to date with technology. Unfortunately it cause a huge problem when trying to get the correct information from them. Databasics has solved most of this issue. The support I have recieved (even witn stupid errors) is extremely fast. The phone app is the greatest! Our employees using the phone app are up to date with their information and as a company we can now see where our strengths and weaknesses are in regards to the cost of goods sold as well as expenses.
