What are the best aspects of this product?
Perfect solution for keeping track of our tasks and projects and their due date. It provides great set of features to make our work easier.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
The integration with QuickBooks caused many problems, because we don’t have large data in QB anymore and FP changed some options when it comes to interaction with clients and dates on invoices. Also, I would like to adjust invoices instead of deleting it and starting over again whenever we want to make simple change. Additionally, various estimates cannot be put into one project, and we cannot add more than one of same service.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We have realized great benefits with internal interaction and tasking, we keep everything in one place and in perfect order. Everyone knows their tasks and their job responsibility.

What are the best aspects of this product?
We can easily create schedules and estimates, we are able to copy existing tasks in order to reuse for another project. It saves us huge amount of time by making tweaks when needed to accommodate every differences between tasks and projects. We use customizable proposal template and allows other members to create own proposals so they can send to their clients.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Jumping back and forth between the estimate and schedules can be time-consuming, it would be great if there is final number on schedule view. In order to get final numbers I have to do this jumping multiple times.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Function Point helps me to see where I am at specific project. I can see if some projects need more time or less time so I can better manage them. I can even alert my clients when project is approaching budgets. I love the ability to export proposals from the program, and this saves me lot of time. I can add details to the projects instead of holding a folder plus with the details.

What are the best aspects of this product?
With Function Point Productivity we can easily estimate our clients’ projects and jobs, it has features for time tracking, tasks assignments and invoicing. The reports we get are clear and understandable. The reports show our clients what their habits, tracking and profitability and how these impact their business. I personally love the estimate function and invoicing of all project documentation options.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It took a while to integrate the software but their team were very helpful and they gave us a training on how to use the product.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We offer custom publications for our users and we create custom estimates. We are able to organize, streamline and automate the custom estimates. This product helps us to better generate a report and to present who and what is profitable and to show them areas that need improvements.

What are the best aspects of this product?
With Function point I can have control over task details, it allows me to add more details instead of other PM products that don’t provide an option for adding details. I like that within the product, the tasks exist as a separate item. I can easily edit details, change task number and resources and even do the search by task number. I prefer Resource Allocation over other PM tools. This product can be used by almost everyone, it’s easy to navigate and you can easily find what you are looking for.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It would be great if they could implement an option to arrange or view tasks by start date and not only by due date. To find out the start date of specific product we need to click through the task’s details. There isn’t even option to front-load, back-load or disperse time.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
With this product we can have accurate view of what everyone is working on and when. As a Studio Manager I don’t want my people to be overbooked or overwhelmed with lot of work. So, this product helps me to better organize my work and assign tasks. Also, it helps us to keep track of everyone job’s status and resources involved. I like that jobs and tasks are like separate items it looks more clear and organized. We are even able to search for previous tasks and to see how much time and resources were needed. This helps us to make better decision in the given moment.

What are the best aspects of this product?
Once you learn how to use it, you will see that everything is easy to do, you can easily run billings and it has great integration with QuickBooks. Its time management functionality is easy and extremely helpful for our employees. We have great amount of data and we can easily access past and present projects through categories and this helps us to better organize our work.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
The learning process is long, and when you finish with the trainings there is lot more to learn in order to get the report you need. I want to see an option where I can save the reports. It takes lot of work to see how many hours an employee has worked on specific task. Also, we have found some issues when sync back and forth between FP and QB, it takes lot of work to get FP invoices.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We know that everything that is connected to our work is in one place, including time, budget, PDFs, signed proposals. When it comes to organizing thing Fp does the job and it’s much better when you know that everything is in perfect order.
