"Hull is awesome to connect all kind of data but reliability..."

What do you like best?

With Hull, we can connect our product Database with Salesforce, Intercom, Salesloft without any effort. You just have to map your field and plan your synchronisation. It's almost real time so you can enjoy instant data changes in all tools. It saved us a lot of internal dev time and helped us to scale faster.

What do you dislike?

Reliability. You don't always understand synchronisation failed. Hull is often down and it's a huge pain for that kind of SaaS.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Data synchronisation between CRM & our Product. We can comunicate with our main database directly from a Sales Cycle or Customer Support.

What do you like best?

Hull enables to keep all of our data in sync without worrying about time-consuming api integrations and tools that don't work with each other. We can send and receive web-hooks, we can add custom code through the data processor and we can enrich all of our users profiles through Clearbit. Amazing!Also, through Clearbit we get access to the first, sign-up and last touch attribution data for any user so we can see exactly what is their path to conversion and through utm parameters we can attribute ROI to our marketing campaigns. This enables us to do a much better job in attribution.

What do you dislike?

Having a direct relationship with their product manager helps us because if they don't have a feature or if there is something to add, we can make sure it's on their roadmap! so nothing really to say here. I think there is a lot that can be added in terms of "codeless manipulation" and I believe the team at Hull is working very hard to make this happen!

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If there is not a connector for the software you use, it's very easy to build one and the Hull.io team will help you with it!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

With Hull we solve the problem of having all of our data in a single place and being able to push and pull our customers data through our stack. What this means is that no matter the tool we're using, we'll always have the most up to date information about our clients. This saves our sales, marketing and customer support team to look at the same and most accurate data to serve our clients as best as we can.

What do you dislike?

In the beginning we were a little disappointed in the available, out-of-the box integrations but the team has been hard at work. That situation is no longer an issue.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Give it a shot. It is a very powerful CDP.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Having a unified customer profile. It is nice having all of the data points in one system. This system sets us up for future growth with lead scoring, personalization, etc.

What do you like best?

They give you a unified view of your users. They remove the need to have to develop and maintain custom integrations with 3rd party providers.

What do you dislike?

The catalog of available integrations is slim. This is because they go for depth before breadth, but if critical integrations are missing it may not work for you.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Definitely check them out and consider if they'll be a good fit.

For example, I wish we had used them to manage our Hubspot integration. Hubspot has a terrible API and it would be nice to offload the integration work to Hull.

The Hull team is small, so they do a good job taking care of their early customers. A few pieces of my feedback have already made it into production.

Trying to bring together a unified and rich customer profile. We've been able to integrate our CRM, marketing data, and customer support information into a single user profile.

What do you like best?

- Cut our implementation time for a big project in half

- Smartly architected - simple enough to be easy to implement, flexible enough to fit a variety of use cases.

- Very strong customer service - the team were always there to assist with questions.

What do you dislike?

- Onboarding & UX - the user interface could do a better job at communicating what the different parts of the product do, perhaps by incorporating inline tip cards or training videos. I found that we leaned on asking the team for advice at times when we could have self-served. I much prefer being able to self-serve as much as posisble.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

- Engineer time spent doing data transforms between systems when it could be better spent building product.

- Reduces reliance on martech providers by reducing switching costs - allows us to try new services without creating lock in and sunk cost.
