A good product but poor support

I find the chat software overall very good. I tried a few but liked this one. However, it does have bugs but I always think it is how they respond to resolving those bugs that counts.I reported to them a spelling mistake followed by a more serious issue where when I type a reply to a chat request in my on screen box on my PC it ghosts or overwrites itself. To try to convey this to !you what that means is at this point my cursor whould not be where the exclamation mark is above and I would be overwriting my own typed text. This really confuses the reply because you cannot read as you go along what you are writing and as we deal with computer issues sometimes those replies are challenging.I reported the issue to JivoChat and sent them a video of the issue. Aboue 2 weeks later I chased them up by email and they asked "what issue" and "can I tell them about it" I replied but they did not respond.I left it another couple of weeks and then jumped on the chat support and challenged them saying that if they could not fix it then I would like a refund. Turned out they had fixed it but had not told me. It is early days and so we will see what happens.I like the product and give it 4 starsHowever the support is really poor and for that I give them 1 star. So 2.5 stars but as I can only give 2 or 3 stars on this site then 3 it will be.

Poor Customer Support/Product is Meh

WARNING: This company doesn't honor customers' requests to delete their account information and they are a company outside of the US. Their customer support could really use some improvement. The product requires a code to be emailed to you to delete your account (a bad user experience). I never received the email (after three tries). I was chatting with someone for longer than 5 minutes (should have taken less than one minute to do) and she never resolved my issue. Maybe she was new or was a robot.

I love how easy it is to install JivoChat on our site, so we can reach out or get back to our clients a lot more quickly and regardless of their location. This helped us increase our sales rate.

No dislikes at all. Using JivoChat has been seamless, so we highly recommend you try it and see how effective it is for yourself.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Increasing our sales and customers through the live chat system and aligning our chat reports and records into one platform, so we are able to compile frequently answered questions for those visiting our site for the first time.

PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

I like that for its affordable price, we're able to efficiently establish customer relations by directly communicating with the client via live chat. It's user-friendly, with an elegant design and it's custom-ready. The engagement between our team and our clients are fluid, so we've been receiving much better feedback since setting it up.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

We haven't experienced any issues with JivoChat so far. If we ever do encounter it in the future, we'll be open to sending constructive feedback to help further improve the project.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Being able to instantly respond to client inquiries and concerns. JivoChat enabled us to improve on our communication and customer service because of the live chat function and that we're able to view what the customer is writing to us before s/he presses the send button. We're also able to schedule auto-replies for when our customer support team isn't available. Also, we can't stop raving about their mobile app, which allows us to respond anywhere and anytime.
