Very poor
Downloaded, which took ages. Lots of problems with compatibility during setup and then the first time I tried to open a database it wouldn't do it.And the website is very clear that they have no interest in helping with technical problems. So deleted within 5 minutes of downloading.

A complete office package
PROS & CONS
What are the best aspects of this product?
I like that LibreOffice works perfectly on different platforms such as Mac, Linux, and Windows. It's an open-source solution, complete with office suite programs that allow the creation of text files, engaging presentations, and working with numbers and formulas. It might be completely free but it's not a trial version at all. It's very stable and brimming with features. The open license is also the best because you can get it for no price and you're free to modify it and make a new app for the community.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Occasionally, errors occur and you're forced to close the app. That's a waste of time and effort especially since when that happens, you can't save your PDF files. The interface is also kinda old looking so it might drive other users off. And finally, file conversion, which is a big feature of Microsoft Office, isn't fully supported by LibreOffice so there are times when files look as if they're corrupted.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
This office solution is by default, installed in Linux Distributions. But for Windows users, they have to download it from the vendor page and install to their PC. Compared to purchasing private licenses, using this does save a lot of money.

A great office program with good support
PROS & CONS
What are the best aspects of this product?
I like LibreOffice's capability to fulfill my everyday office needs like making graphic presentations for the meeting, using the spreadsheet, and creating documents. It's also not occupying too many resources of my system and in fact, its resource management capability is pretty high because it can open big files without lagging. Moreover, the software is free. But people are willing to donate because of how helpful this is. Its multi-platform architecture is also pretty neat so I can use it for Linux, Mac, or Windows.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Well, this one's understandable but I think there's still a long way before this reaches the level of Microsoft Office. But again, this is understandable because LibreOffice's developers only rely on donations. It also presents a pretty steep learning curve. But as a solution to that, LibreOffice provides free courses on how to manage and operate the program. There's no option for sharing files online too because it doesn't support Google Drive and the likes.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
I'm helping the company in standardizing an offline solution that can be used in Linux, Mac, and Windows OS. This way, the personnel wouldn't have to worry about which environment LibreOffice is running on because it'll run the same way regardless.

An open-source, low-spec, but an advanced suite
PROS & CONS
What are the best aspects of this product?
It's a very useful and robust solution that can run on various types of operating systems. It allows us to create different types of files like text docs, slideshows, and spreadsheets. It's a lightweight tool which is free of charge. It's easy to use and does not demand much from a technical perspective.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It has a lot of room for improvement and I'm sure there are some experts out there who can develop this software further. LibreOffice doesn't provide good tech support and most of our problems must be solved through scouring for a solution on forums and such. There are instances of lacking or messy content too, probably because of incompatibility issues.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
It's useful and can work on both Linux and Windows OS. It allows us to make documents, spreadsheets, and presentation just like the MS Office but instead, this one is free to use.

A Good alternative for paid office solutions
PROS & CONS
What are the best aspects of this product?
The most amazing thing about LibreOffice is that it's free and is an open-source software that can rival the MS Office. It looks like an office suite created for professional works and can compete with the GSuite. It has a word, excel, database, and powerpoint processor. It can also work natively with MAC, Linux, Or Windows and the user experience from one OS isn't much different from the others. The apps comprising LibreOffice are very lightweight but stable. The GUI has also improved a lot and is now looking great. The calc and writer apps can cover most of our professional needs all by themselves.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Compared to its MS Office equivalent, Base is several levels below. And it's quite disappointing. The icons are also not uniform for every app.The size itself can become an issue for icons because they're different from each other. And although Draw is personally very helpful to me, editing PDF files using it created an enormous amount of elements that it caused a seriously heavy lag.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We needed a word processor but can't afford the licenses offered by paid solutions. So we got LibreOffice instead. It can deliver the job without asking for a pay.
