Lionbridge have been working with MarketMuse for over a year, from an initial proof of concept through to now having our content team work directly within the tool creating optimized content in real time.

As an SEO expert, the tool is great from an efficiency perspective, the amount of input required to support the content team has gone down and the quality of the content produced is excellent.

The level of support we get from MarketMuse is really hands on, tailored training for the SEO team and the content team, weekly meetings during the adoption phase. We now have regular monthly meetings and ad-hoc meetings or training as new features are released.

The only downside is the overhead of training but that effort is quickly offset by the efficiency of getting great content first time.

We are getting more traffic, improving our content by producing optimized content, first time. Leveraging and refreshing our older content. It has also improved our Featured Snippet / Voice performance.

What we value most about MarketMuse is the competitive data that is available. We are able to accurately know who in our market is doing well for certain topics and then work to chase and beat them.

There is so much data and suggestions which is helpful however it can get easy to lose track of what is most important when creating a game plan when the homepage dashboard is home to so much information.

We are seeing significant improvement in time on sight as well as click throughs, from using their link suggestions. Our pages are ranking higher and for more topics.

Marketmuse's software is outstanding for optimizing content. From doing research on contextually relevant but semantically distinct topics to tuning up existing pages, it's an excellent, very tactical tool. Highly recommended for SEO teams.

Natural language generation is still hit or miss (the First Draft product) as of mid-2020. More often than not, it needs substantial editing in order to be usable.

We use Marketmuse for the optimization of individual web pages around specific topics, especially for incorporating semantically distinct keywords and phrases. We also use it for researching competitive placements and understanding the broad topics - and their weak spots.

My favorite thing about MarketMuse is it's ability to not only help you optimize content for SEO, but also inform how difficult/easy it will be to rank for certain keywords. It gives you an accurate picture of what topics to focus on and how to prioritize those topics.

You cannot customize the competitor insights based on who your company's direct competitors are.

Use their learning materials, including their blog and webinars. They offer a ton of information for both newcomers to the tool and seasoned users.
