"Excel Review"
What do you like best?
I use Excel for my personal use in helping to keep track of my monthly budget. While at work I use it to create electrical panel schedules and works great in doing so. When the schedules are complete we import them into AutoCAD and Revit.
What do you dislike?
The only dislike is that personally I am not great with figuring out the different equations that you can do within Excel but, that's no fault of the software. That just requires me to learn it better.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We are easily creating electrical panel schedules from a template we created that as information gets filled the math equations for electrical load calcs for the panels get filled in to the panel. Others within the office create mechanical equipment schedules.

What do you like best?
Excel formulas
Text formatting
Data handling
Programming
What do you dislike?
It's very hard to say the dislikes but when it comes to a very large database, It starts hanging and loading too much
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I am handling a whole plant (Chemical Industry) data using excel.
The data in includes complete material management of the plant.
In excel, I have added many formulas and formats, So Very less manual entries are needed

"Amazing Versatility."
What do you like best?
I use excel to analyze my social media marketing efforts, I love the versatility of excel, from pivot tables to slicers, excel has so much to offer if you but know where to look for it! Every day it seems like I am learning about new features that excel offers!
What do you dislike?
A lot of the features of Excel it feels like are hidden, I find myself googling how to do things all the time. But the nice part is oftentimes Google is able to simply explain how to do what I need to do to ensure that my reports are running and simple to update.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I love the ease of the tables and pivot tables and the charts to visualize the data. I use it to set goals and to plan and budget.

"The best software to do calculations"
What do you like best?
I really like the complexity of the operations that can be carried out with the data entered, using only the tools of this program, which are basic and very easy to understand, I like being able to make spreadsheets keeping an inventory and being able to update them just by changing some of my entered data
What do you dislike?
This program is useful, I have done many jobs for different companies, and on certain occasions I have had a recurring problem, which is the difficulty to print the spreadsheet without the loss of information, on certain occasions at the time of printing I have had incomplete spreadsheets, which has made me waste some time trying to do it correctly
Recommendations to others considering the product:
With this program, great results can be obtained with very basic operations, becoming repetitive, so that a lot of data can be handled quickly, it is highly recommended for those who want to improve their performance and have a better organization of the information of their companies
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I consider this program quite advanced, it can be very difficult to handle at first without any indication, but with some practice very good results can be obtained, greatly improving many aspects in the company, such as, for example, it can become a lot more efficient by having a spreadsheet with inventory data that can be updated in minutes, allowing a faster response to the customer

"Microsoft Excel Review"
What do you like best?
Microsoft Excel is a very powerful and useful tool for data validation, sanitization, and complication. It is very user friendly and easy to understand. The best part about MS Excel is that it is the industry standard for data compilation and can be used around almost all the domains.
Basic and even complex calculations and validations can be entered in excel with the help of very easy excel formulas.
What do you dislike?
There are some slight issues while copying data from different formats. Other than that, there's nothing in particular that I dislike about MS Excel.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Excel is very easy and user friendly when compared to other softwares. It is also the industry standard as most of the work is done on MS Excel.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I work on the database development and management in my team. I use SSMS (SQL Server) for the DBMS and sometimes when the result sets are too complicated, I can easily copy the table data (with headers) into my excel, and easily analyze my dataset. The fact that data validations can be done on excel makes my work very easy and quick.
