What are the best aspects of this product?

I have been a Mindjet user since it rolled out. I love how it can easily integrates with Windows and its applications, such as MS Office and MS Project. Even if I already transferred to a Mac, I use Mindjet as well. Thank God it works well with Mac.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There is little to no development with Mindjet's Mac edition. Maps that are constructed in Windows doesn't display well in Mac due to the absence of feature matching.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I have used Mindjet for brainstorming projects and business cases as well as risk indetification among others. I also use mindmappping to help me making smart business decisions, as well as taking notes and staying on top of small projects.

What are the best aspects of this product?

I like how versatile Mindjet is that I can use it for my personal life aside from my work. It is a very flexible tool that I have used it in managing projects to planning weddings and personal activities. Mindjet lets me gather all the details from the start and then present all information in a very graphical, visual way that will impress my audience.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It would be best if your audience has it too and then you would have any trouble converting your maps to PDFs.

I used Mindjet with customer information.

What are the best aspects of this product?

I love how easy I can enter any information and display them in the most visual and graphical way. That means I can convey my ideas, concepts, and projects no matter the expertise level of my audience. Everyone can digest my presentations with just a glance. I love the map options provides by the software as well as the capability to assign tasks and put descriptions on progress using visual elements.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

While it is a totally helpful software, I find formatting the maps a real challenging task and it could be frustrating at the end. It is not an intuitive process, unless you are very familiar with maps and you know what you are doing.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I am able to consolidate and summarize all informaton in one map and that has help me communicate my projects as they are more graphical.

What are the best aspects of this product?

I highly recommend Mindjet! I can easily grab ideas instantly and then structure them later. I can attach graphics/icons and then filter them. Exporting to Word is a very useful functionality. Basically, Mindjet works well with my thinking and communication style. I can create topics and then align them depending on how I perceive my projects to be. It's also effortless to place specific noted per topic and link if I need to.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It's bad that Mindjet only allows one image per topic. I wish I can create data flow diagrams ala Vislo. That feature is sorely lacking. Rearranging large maps is also a tough task to perform.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I use Mindjet to construct change management, process documents, establish a benefits hierarchy, and make OCM.org charts.

What are the best aspects of this product?

I can just put random thoughts, informations, clips, etc. and let Mindjet "make sense" out of everything and then watch these bits "cluster" into a new idea. It is an excellent tool for problem solving and planning. Mindjet is a great tool especially when taking notes and revising subjects. Keeping track of references and summaries is quite effortless.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There is nothing I think I dislike about Mindjet. I am very satisfied with the product.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I use Mindjet primarily for drafting documents, starting business cases, and any document where the structure needs to be versatile at the onset, while I am still figuring out the problem.
