"Best known databases"
What do you like best?
Mysql is an open source database which provides the actual idea of internal functioning and build structure. It support comprehensive transactional ability. It has a powerful build quality that is helpful for handling large data so that no dataloss occurs or data should be consistently available for processes. It also offers high data security that will help to protect data in efficient manner.
What do you dislike?
It occurs some issue like in the lower version before 5.0 it doesn't support ROLE, commit. It also incurs some stability issues. Requires high memory to process as well as difficulty to debug and maintain the data inside. It also offers some sort of inconsistencies when used with other tools and softwares.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As we know that it is the most known database in today's era which makes it recommended to all existing users and also for the non-existing users.
It also helps to store large data sets that help in supporting functioning of big websites.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
While development of some websites or softwares I usually uses python as a developing language. And generally they required a database to handle all the data so for that I generally used mysql to build sql database which is effective and efficient to provide data at times required. Along with this it also helps to manipulate add and terminate data rows as well as tables on direct command to it's command line.

"Our preferred database for relational data"
What do you like best?
MySQL Workbench as and extremelly intuitive tool for database administration, modeling and database server configuration
What do you dislike?
Nothing in particular. MySQL meets the majority of our requeriments.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We are currently using MySQL for the development of an internal Quality Assurance System for our University.

"Good reliable database"
What do you like best?
Lightweight and easy to work with. Good set of connectors for different languages. It is very quick to install and start work with. Decent performance for what it takes to set it up. Ease of use has me reaching for it everytime.
What do you dislike?
Cannot handle scale like other bigger database out there. Some features are lacking when you scale up your data needs.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
POCs, small workloads etc., It is very quick to install and start work with. Decent performance for what it takes to set it up. Ease of use has me reaching for it everytime. reporting needs and such.

"Prefect database mysql"
What do you like best?
If we talk about the best in MySQL then I think everything inside it is the best. Strong behavior, consistent nature, helps to integrate with big data to handle it, starting with atomic-like properties and working together and never disappointing you. It is easy to implement the query language to use it. Also, installing this server is the easiest task among the rest of the database servers.
What do you dislike?
As we all know that nothing is right in this era, this database has some errors and limitations in its favor. Like I encounter a problem when using, when I need to store more than one value inside the cell of a table in MySQL, but it will not allow me to do so. However it also has some restrictions that use integer fields as primary keys and foreign keys.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Due to it's acid properties and long lasting support with robust behaviour, it is recommended to a wide range of users. It has some impressive usage to be used in large projects.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
As part of my final internship project, I needed to create a django website where I needed to integrate mysql with front and back to handle my database. At the time I wanted MySQL to choose my preferred database because of reliability and stability. This helped me to complete my project on time and encouraged me to develop more projects like this. However I think there are possibilities to go beyond what is there to serve the user.

"MySQL is a very novice tool to do a lot of great stuff with data."
What do you like best?
My favorite thing about MySQL in general is that it is very easy to code in. I have a lot of "new to coding" members on my team, and I find that using MySQL to code has helped them to pick up quickly. For example, the coding is very straight forward to English when using the expression "WHERE VARIABLE LIKE '%WORD%'".
What do you dislike?
My biggest dislike about MySQL is when you run a line of code that fails, the error message is either vague, or way too long to explain what actually happened. I have coded in R, and it explicitly tells you what is wrong, where with MySQL, sometimes you have a weird error message that you have to google, but the error only showed up because you forgot a comma or something simple like that.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We are working with big data. We are using MySQL to house all of our data, and this has been very good for us because MySQL works VERY fast with very minimal time out issues. We have been able to pull massive reports, build stored procedures, views, and tables to help us solve business problems through our company.
