"The best lead capture solution I've come across"
What do you like best?
Poptin is a super versatile tool, that we were able to integrate with pretty much any tool on our stack. Their support is stellar, with immediate response on chat and email, that never left us hanging. Their flexibility in design was also super important to us, as we didn't want to compromise on this.
What do you dislike?
Nothing really. Pricing is fair and load speed is fantastic, so couldn't really find a reason to complain.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Grabbing emails from users abandoning our site or user that engaged with our content (blogs and other lead magnets).
They offer better design and integrations than the standard tools we use (Hubspot and Elementor), so it really gave us an extra edge that showed better conversion rates.

"Excellent Software and Service"
What do you like best?
Great interface. Everything works well. The most impressive part of it, to me as our VP who covers all things digital for our agency, is that it can be triggered by using a specific UTM string so we have complete control of who sees the popups, etc and we can apply them to only our paid traffic.

The only thing I don't like about Poptin is that is is not free. ;)
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
This is the first solution I found that can deliver the popup based on very specific parameters, giving us full control.

"A good system to get started and test user journey hypotheses quickly"
What do you like best?
I like the way it allows you to define specific triggers; If you have a decent idea of how users are moving through the site, these triggers make it easy to insert checks and interruptions along the path and confirm hypotheses. Eg. we can identify a scenario indicative of potential abandonment - eg. long idle time on search results - and offer alternate options like popular searches done recently. Then test for responses on the popup. Can similarly use it for cross-promotion across site. It's a quick and dirty way to get the basics of personalization in place if you're considering an expensive option like Target, and it works pretty ok with Drupal. Built-in stats are also decent, avoids the need for any complex integrations with current analytics. With a little forethought, you can actually be up and running in 24 hours with this.
What do you dislike?
The free version is almost unusable if you have a high-traffic site, since it considers all site views and not just views of the pages where it's triggered - so you might well finish your trial in a day before you even had a statistically significant volume on the specific pages you're deploying it. If you're starting usage on high-traffic pages, not so much.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Testing some key assumptions about what our users seek on our website. We have a somewhat complex, high-content site, but majority of traffic is mobile resulting in drop-offs as people get lost; we're using poptin as a guide to recommended user journeys and guiding people to appropriate content and CTAs. Core objective is to test for the business case of using personalization.
