PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

Projectplace provides a one stop shop for Kanban, Gantt, file sharing, comments, as well as a tight integration with Planview.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I had some problems with very large Excel documents not coming through properly. And having the Gantt view only available on the highest paywall is a bit of a money-grab, though only for non-corporate users. At the moment, we could not expand the use of this tool here as it does not work well with other tools that integrate with the code/build/test cycle.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Projectplace was used to coordinate the rollout of a different tool into our corporate IT environment.It helped make it much easier to collaborate with the vendor without having to invest in VPN connections so they could access our internal SharePoint sites.

The Kanban boards linked to the activities

What do you dislike?

Would be great to have more charts or dashboards to show the collaboration.

Is not just about the tool, it is about the team and how they will collaborate in the tool, to set up the expectations and business objectives is a good way to start.

"Use this excellent Planview Projectplace platform"

What do you like best?

Planview contains several ways to share information, in turn it is easy to use, allows you to customize the project, also contains document management, task management and detailed training of Planview SMEs and continuous support are useful.

What do you dislike?

I think it can be difficult to find things if the plan rooms have been installed in different places, in turn I would like to improve your plan view allows any type of naming convention that allows everyone to upload things. This can cause disorganization.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It is very suitable for building and file sharing. However, it is useful that you can upload so much information on a site, it is a very easy platform to manage, it is excellent for our virtual teams in several countries. This reduces the load of the installation, the network and the configuration of FW, it is a platform that I recommend.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are using Planview Projectplace in the company as a site to share files and collaborate. It helps us to share information between companies in the place something very important is that it is designed to be used by our project team and the client, in turn It allowed program drivers to more easily track the progress of particular programs and reports Custom made things easier to track.

"Planview Projectplace achieves the best collaboration"

What do you like best?

I like it because it fits the job when I don't use some of its functions, it doesn't present any problem. Planview has a task assignment for multiple projects and is perfect because they have several communication options, weekly, daily, among others.

What do you dislike?

If the plan is installed in different places it is difficult to find matters, it would be good to make it easier and avoid wasting so much time in the search. When I add a new document automatically, it replaces me with an old one. This is something I don't want to keep happening. Ideally, it would be to keep both documents.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Planview helps keep our company organized, focused. Every time we start to manage the tasks between the departments we reinforce the communication, the contribution of the teams becomes more effective and solid. Thanks to its configuration we manage to share tasks and files of the company.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It works perfectly when we have multiple projects. We have customers who create cards and according to their competencies we assign an engineer and with Planview it is easy to track the tickets depending on the state in which you are.

"Ideal Projectplace for your company"

What do you like best?

It should be noted that Planview Projectplace seems to me an incredible tool because it allows me to gather teams in the realization of work. In addition to providing me with all the necessary mechanisms to establish communication, execute tasks and track the processes of storage and organization of documents. On the other hand, I think it's great because it gives me the possibility of finding the storage area in document management much easier. And likewise I can create different workspaces within the organization.

What do you dislike?

On the other hand I like this platform since it is very useful when it comes to assembling teams and it would be a pleasure to have the possibility of integrating with other platforms. Therefore it would be necessary to personalize the name of the columns and thus allow me greater flexibility. However I would love to improve the card update a bit since it usually presents small inconveniences.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Projectplace is an incredible tool that we as an organizational group recommend because it seems very cool because it allows us to work with different types of project approaches.

We as a company are using Projectplace as a fundamental tool for the coordination and management of projects during the performance of teamwork within our company and thus strengthen an excellent image.
