Months without a solution ...

Although the first year with Ranorex was fine and increased our productivity overall, the first problem that appeared after the standard support period expired gave the whole cooperation a bad taste.Apart from the fact that if you don't buy support continuously and the problem appears after a year and a half, for example, you have to buy support for the whole past period just to get someone to talk to you, after buying support and reporting the problem it took them half a year to even get to the problem analysis during which we were without a working application. Several times we had to tediously report the same problem over and over again as we were shuffled around by support teams who had no continuity for our support case.
And when our support expired again for a period during which we could not use the program, Ranorex referred us to another support purchase, still without a working solution. This is totally unacceptable and definitely not a pro-customer approach.

Very user friendly and works well for beginners and experts

Ranorex was able to automate a old dotnet application which competetive tools were not able to. it has wide scope,

What do you like best?

Execution is fast ,identifieing the object using tracing and reporting formate.

Jump to perticular code line from report is very good fetuer.

due to this we need to search which line which file we got the error.

What do you dislike?

Identifing the table when it is having more rows of data is very difficult.

When we google for ranoex any method is not showing the direct results.

Data binding concept are not very user freindly to use.

When ever we open ranorex it is asking the Admin rights to open.

due to this to use ranoex person should have admin rights which it team will not give admin access.

Not able provide name for screen shots by using ranorex methods.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It best for identifying objects.this will support all kind of application(ex:SAP,Web, windows, mobile application..).

Since Selinium java will not support windows and SAP applications.

But ranorex is very good candiate for any kind of application.this tool will intigrate with TFS for Continous intigation.

One of our application not able to automate with selinium , winapp driver and UFT.

So we have used Ranorex and successfully completed the project.

Execution also very fast.We are getting Good ROI for the projects.

What do you like best?

the object identification works great, support most of the technologies like infragistics, silverlight etc where other tools are struggle to identify the most.

What do you dislike?

hang/stuck in middle of spy and GUI which has too much options where you can shrunk in the single filed

Recommendations to others considering the product:

make it simple GUI to connect with TFS as inbuild option for CI

Worked well in infragistics application and also helps one project where we have to use AP,web and wpf. saves lot of time in execution, its pretty fast.
