"Very useful Tool to be able to visualize, share and collaborate on product roadmaps"
What do you like best?
The ability to quickly create several visuals of a roadmap based on a single data set. Different stakeholders in our organization need access to a different level of Roadmap data so the ability to serve it to all of them based on one dataset saves us quite a bit of time.
What do you dislike?
Like any fixed web-based tool, you are limited to what the tool will allow you to do UI wise and sometimes run into limitations if you want to indicate an exception or some kind of caveat on the timeline. So far, we always found ways around it using existing tools.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
As an organization, we've always struggled with the ability to effectively manage and visualize product roadmaps. Roadmunk have helped on a number of fronts:
1. Ease of creating and maintaining roadmaps.
2. Ease of sharing and collaborating on roadmaps.
3. Ability to show different roadmaps views to different stakeholder groups.

What do you like best?
The ease to add new elements and some of the features to have a couple of ways of visualize, by element and by swim lane, modifying the grouping on the buckets and the rows.
What do you dislike?
I think some of the visualizations are limited and functionality only becomes available on the higher cost versions, which are rather expensive, as you try to use it as a collaborative tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For the money, i would try other tools like LeanIX that provide a ton of more functionality. Roadmunk might be useful for starting out, but I don't think I would deploy at a large scale

I am trying to build an IT Enterprise Architecture which I would like to see in three dimensions:
- the Current state to Future state (RoadMap)
- the initiatives to take us from Current to Future
- the relationships between the different elements of the Architecture

What do you like best?
The best feature of Roadmunk it the ability to group multiple product roadmaps into one larger master. This helps with multi phase development where you have different enhancements coming out for the same parent product. I also am a fan of the Milestones, as a Product Manager I can set larger milestones that drive launch activities while the engineers can implement gates that I can align on.
What do you dislike?
A bit buggy for my taste. I would like to see more slippage tracking. E.G if we miss a key date being able to track how far we missed it by and have a historical record of that would be useful. They have a key date system but it is cumbersome and I have not been successful implementing it. I understand they are a startup and I think they have a good start to a product.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
HW Engineering Project tracking and product management launch activities tracking. I needed a visual roadmapping tool that could create timelines that I can share with the executive team.

"Simple tool for simple roadmapping"
What do you like best?
I like that this tool is really simple and visual. I needed something that I could use to quickly and easily get my thoughts and roadmap items in a visual format. We use Jira to manage the actual engineering work, but I wanted something simpler to have strategy and prioritization discussions with leadership, Roadmunk was perfect for that.
What do you dislike?
My only real gripe is that sometimes the software isn't fast enough to keep up with what I'm doing. There are instances where I'm moving stuff around quickly within the timeline views and have to wait for the software to "catch up" or in some instances, the change won't get made because I worked too fast.

Simple, executive-level roadmapping, strategy, and prioritization discussions.

What do you like best?
With it, you can build a roadmap not only for a product or project, but also to visualize sprints and plan releases. The service allows you to visually present the product roadmap, link the global strategy with the roadmap processes, identify and evaluate ideas, collaborate with all stakeholders (including customers and non-technical colleagues), integrate with third-party systems.
What do you dislike?
Only English is supported, no application on phones, no free fare.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In my opinion, Roadmunk is the best platform for a product manager at the moment. I did not find a better alternative, so if you can not decide which planning platform to use, then feel free to choose Roadmunk.

The service solved the problem of creating road maps. The undoubted advantage is that the program allows you to manage sprints and milestones.
