You will be overcharged due to their poor customer service
Do not go forward with them if you want to be unnecessarily costly $ charged as a result of their incompetence "Junior Happiness Engineer" / customer service to co ordinate your issue.
The juniors do not seems professionally trained to handle some items but yet we can't reach other managerials roles along side the side your inventory will be in.
Their happy engineers customer service is poor. My company VOQA LTD has been overcharged because their lack of delay and misinformation of co ordination. We've been passed along through multiple customer service people to only result to our processing delivery to be delayed - resulting to us being charged but they're the ones not profressional responsive!!
And they only provide a customer service remotely based in Florida, you won't know the status of your items that clearly as they're not on site.

The worst 3PL in my 10 years of ecommerce.
Our Mispick rate is 75%- customer service nightmare, that keeps repeating. There is little accountability. As a small business owner I researched many 3PL. I will tell you the sales reps here are very good, but the pricing adjust every 3 months- but once they have your inventory it all falls apart. They claim they weigh packages before they ship, they do not, they literally sent 5k worth of goods to the wrong customer 1 weeks ago. One month we had over 200 mispicks for retail customers! They cannot consistently include packing slips. My rep is in a different state than my warehouse so she can't even see the floor. Even the person who referred to me them left, they sent me an email offering me a better rate on the condition that I could get her business come back!! As if I work for them??? - happy to share that email. They are the worst 3pl I have worked with in my 10 years of management. * ***updated: In response to your reply below, you have my contact information because I had to verify this review. If you want to talk to me email or call me- you have all of my info- Or you can come to my weekly meeting on Tuesdays at 12 EST. I'm in contact with SM about 5x a day bc of all the issues. Sidebar it took 8 months to actually get a rep. My rep is actually great, but can't do much because of their polices and staff turnover.

Lack of attention to detail, consistent errors with fulfillment, and slow response times
I've been using ShipMonk for the past 6 months and it has not lived up to our expectations at all. The only positive point I would really give is on the ShipMonk dashboard -- it is fairly intuitive to use and works as was promised in the demo. However, most other interactions have left us with a sour taste in our mouth. The biggest nightmares I've experienced have come with ShipMonk's fulfillment accuracy and their ability to course-correct when mistakes are made. I had a wholesale customer who received the wrong order because a ShipMonk floor worker swapped shipping labels -- instead of the order my wholesale customer ordered, they received another ShipMonk account's order, while their actual original order was shipped to that ShipMonk account. I only found out about this after being contacted by the other ShipMonk account. While I can understand that human error occurs from time to time, to make matters worse ShipMonk was extremely slow to FIX the error despite this being a problem that impacted two of their accounts (not to mention it was extremely embarrassing to have to explain this to our customer). It took a course of over two weeks of me constantly emailing and calling ShipMonk to get the matter fixed -- I'm honestly not sure how long it would have taken if I didn't reach out constantly, as they have a habit of being radio silent over email. You can expect a response usually well past 24 hours on average.I had another wholesale order that was incorrect two times in a row. The original order came incorrect to my customer, and my customer let me know. I then re-submitted the remaining portion of the order that was incorrect, and guess what -- that follow-up order also still came with incorrect items. It took 3 tries to send a wholesale order to get it correct. It was an awful experience and the only excuse ShipMonk makes is "human error" from time to time. Well perhaps ShipMonk should spend a bit more time training their floor workers, or perhaps pay them better, and at the same time hire some more staff to manage accounts because most of them take their sweet time to respond to you.The CEO shared a report that they had 98% order accuracy at the end of last year. I'm not sure how they measured this metric, because that's far from the accuracy of what we've actually been provided. Also, don't bother with any requests for analytics or even a simple report of how much you've been billed for receiving or inventory costs, you can expect those to take over 2 weeks at least.Again, the only positive note I can give them is on their dashboard but the customer service is beyond disappointing.

Incompetent Inventory Management & Lost Inventory
I was really excited to work with Shipmonk, their service seemed really great. However after 1 year with them I'm cancelling my contract because of the constant loss of inventory that has occurred. Pros: Easy to use integrated software that syncs with Shopify and automatically downloads my Etsy orders. Inventory tracking feature that updated my Shopify stock. When everything went well, being a Shipmonk customer was great. Orders were automatically fulfilled and it saved hours of work. Cons: They lost thousands of dollars of inventory over the course of a year, a fraction of which was reimbursed. When you sign up for their service the terms and conditions say that even though they might be at fault for lost inventory, they are not financially responsible. It was incredibly frustrating having to email their customer service every week to report an inventory discrepancy. I sell unique clothing designs that have a high production cost so I suspect staff members were stealing my products each time an order was fulfilled. Their Happiness Engineers were always very apologetic each time I reported a claim, but failed to solve the issue or explain why my inventory continually went missing. The rare times that Shipmonk did agree to reimburse me, they only gave me a $10 credit per unit which was a small percentage of the production cost. The lost inventory has negatively impacted my business' reputation. Multiple times I had to message customers to apologize that their order could no longer be fulfilled. Many of the missing products were irreplaceable. Their software syncing system would list products as in stock on my website, then suddenly have an inventory level of 0 when the order was being fulfilled, changing the order status to backordered. Because of Shipmonk's negligence, I've lost thousands of dollars worth of sales plus thousands in lost inventory.I would only recommend their service if you sell very low value items or sell wholesale in bulk.
