What do you like best?

Spectrm is in my opinion the leading provider of an easy to configure and quick to set-up chat bot solution, which main focus lies on launching a chat bot through the facebook messanger app and directly promoting it via the Facebook ads manager in order to create awareness and boost conversions.

What do you dislike?

The chatbot function is limited to people who have a Facebook messanger account and it is not possible to integrate the chatbot on your webshop for example, without using Facebook as the driving force behind the chatbot or messanger plugin. It is yet not possible to integrate the chatbot directly but Spectrm is for sure working on that. On the other hand the connection is also an advantage as campaign set-up couldn't be easier.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Spectrm is on a great way to become the no.1 go-to solution for chatbots, if you would like to implement this in your conversational marketing strategies. Sadly Facebook is just starting to focus more and more on conversational marketing and also customers still have to become fimiliar with using these kind of softwares to get what they want and to help them solve their problem or just identify with a certain brand. Due to the fact that chatbots are definitely getting bigger and bigger in the future, Spectrm is definitely something for everyone who wants to be a step ahead of their competition in terms of creativity for marketing activities and to have a technical jump ahead.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The main problem we solved with Spectrm is to give our potential customers, who we are trying to acquire mainly via Display marketing on Facebook, a different way and more interactive form of connecting and getting to know our brand. The main benefit we experienced is, that people who have used the chat bot to get to know our brand are likely to come back to our shop if they have found what they were looking for in the bot and if they come back their Bounce Rate is way lower. Also we were able to build audiences based upon the audience insights in the Spectrm software and use this fopr potential retargeting in other campaigns and for retargeting via Facebook messages.

What do you like best?

Many of us are used to old school ways of reaching customers: tedious tracking, manually defined audiences, expensive and time consuming customer research surveys. The chatbots I built with Spectrm obliterated all the old, resource-zapping methods and replaced them with an easy way to capture boatloads of insights on my target audiences that I was then able to easily port into my marketing campaigns.

One of the Click to Messenger Facebook campaigns I ran with Spectrm's chatbot had engagement rates that were through the roof. We automated personalized re-engagement messages for every drop-off. 4 out of every 5 customers we engaged with on Facebook performed the action I wanted them to take - that's an 80% success rate. I've never seen that type of performance with any other partner or channel.

I was apprehensive that building out the chatbot, setting up the retargeting, connecting my campaigns, and exporting insights would be a hassle, but the platform was intuitive. Additionally, their customer success were responsive at every step and anticipated all my questions.

What do you dislike?

There is quite a lot of functionality in the platform that can be a lot to digest. They've built the product to serve any need or use case, ranging from brand objectives to dr performance goals, so make sure you are clear on what you want to achieve before you start building out.

I was looking for a cheaper, effective way to reach and learn more about my customers that didn't require a lot of dev work and didn't require a lot of 'change management' efforts. Spectrm accomplished it all.

What do you like best?

We were so excited about having the. opportunity to create a Boob Checking Chat Bot, but initially, I was worried building a bot would be hard, without a background in tech! However, Spectrm was really easy to use, even for me! Once you get into it, it’s intuitive in terms of the flow of how you build conversations, and we were also able to quickly update things based on the analytics to iterate and improve the experience.

Customer success couldn’t be better. So nice and helpful. Even since launching, if we ever had questions we’ve been able to get answers really fast.

The Messenger bot we built with Spectrm was so successful Facebook said it was one of their highest ever brand lift campaigns in our sector. Ad recall was more that double the usual benchmark and awareness of the bot and CoppaFeel was very high. Facebook told us it was way above the standard for ad campaigns of this kind.

What do you dislike?

The thing I found most challenging was the mini-map, which helps you to navigate the conversation overview. Because our conversations would get pretty complex, the map felt a bit overwhelming when I tried to navigate through it. But once I got used to that it was all very intuitive.

Some of the more complex features like retargeting automation and segmentation had a steeper learning curve, but customer success was very helpful in setting this up with us.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Do it! The idea of building a Bot was quite scary, but my concerns were unfounded. The platform was easy to use an intuitive, even for someone with limited 'tech' experience. Customer success couldn’t be better. So nice. So helpful. Nicholas from Customer Success bent over backwards to help us do this and everyone we've spoken to Spectrm has been fantastic. That’s not always the experience. As a charity, it's always nice to hear that people are excited because it’s a good cause, but that doesn't always translate into action, and throughout the process we all felt really supported and inspired. Even since launching if we ever had questions about stuff we’ve been able to get answers really fast.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

As a breast cancer education charity, we were setting out to achieve a behaviour change that is usually only possible in person. Influencing behaviour in a digital environment is a real challenge for us, it's difficult to encourage young people to check themselves regularly without the reassurance that can be given in a persion-to-person interaction (you're doing this right, keep it up!). Spectrm helped achieve the scale we wanted with an interactive format that guided our audience in real-time. Our young audience are digital natives so being able. to reach them in their native environement (on social media) was a crucial factor in the bot's success. The response was amazing and we definitely achieved that objective.

Our brand lift study on Facebook showed we performed 2-3x higher with Spectrm than the industry average on every major brand lift metric. Ad recall was +24.2 pts, campaign awareness was +7.9 lift and action intent was +4.9 pts.

The automated messaging through the platform was pivotal. Being able to offer a regular reminder through it helped re-engage our audience.

22% of people subscribed for a Messenger reminder. Engagement was much higher than we expected. We were driving traffic through ads, so this was a lot of people’s first interaction with CoppaFeel!. Because of that we expected the likelihood that someone would subscribe to be much lower since we were unknown to them. That definitely wasn’t the case.
