What are the best aspects of this product?

I’ve been using Stripe from the very beginning, and they have really improved they product. I have a feeling that the product is made by developers for developers and I really found it useful. This product is number one for me when it comes to payment gateway. To be honest, I wanted to change the product but I have always ran into poor documented tools, useless process and poor interface, and Stripe is beyond that.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There is nothing to dislike for the software technical implementation, but I remember a time when I have created an app that was very successful and I have received thousands of dollars in short time and they even froze the account because they thought it was a fraud, and it took some weeks to resolve the problem. But, I cannot put the blame on them.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I’m using it for my clients, I work as a freelancer and consultant and I help my clients when it comes to marketing. Stripe offers simple startups, its service is wonderful and the testing is also very helpful.

What are the best aspects of this product?

Stripe can be easily integrated with various languages, it takes few minutes to set it up and provides great test environments, and we are ensured that the payments work perfectly even before pushing to production. The product is reliable, its support team is highly responsive and always there to help you fix the problem. I had an issue because the update broke the api and we found out that the problem is edge-case but no matter that they were really gentle to help.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Stripe offers discounts if you use subscription but if you use charges for non-subscription based services then the discount coupons don’t exist. Also, I miss an option to send direct invoice to client. According to their documentation this option is available but it could be much easier for business users. I think that the main focus of this product is on the subscriptions. Additionally, I feel forced to use the stripe javascript and this can be frustration especially if you want to do the server-side payments.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Stripe is great tool for accepting payments, the dashboard is nice and straightforward. It offers other things but I haven’t used them by now.

What are the best aspects of this product?

Stripe is user friendly and intuitive integration, its process is straightforward and it makes the process of accepting payment painless. We can easily manage cancellations and refunds and we have direct access to our customer account or transaction. The product has great mobile app and we use it for reporting. You can even try its demo version without requiring registration. The other wonderful thing about this product is the fact that accepts payments from almost every country. Its API is also key strength and very useful.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

They could insert more features into the mobile app. It happens when our customers can’t perform the payment through Stripe and we have to use PayPal as a backup. They need to resolve this issue. They could make the reasoning more understandable when some transactions don’t process.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We are able to charge our users for one-time payment and recurring payments and helps us to get the job done.

What are the best aspects of this product?

What I like about Stripe is the fact that making as well accepting payments is extremely simple from business and development point of view. Before using Stripe I had to deal with tons of administrative work in order to receive the payment for the products and services. With this product everything is centralized and you can start in less than 30min. The product really provides helpful tools in order to avoid complexity in whole payment process. Starting from their SDK and plug directly into your own code, Javascript API for initializing payment, to the open source Java library, credit card identification and validation, it has pre-built libraries for accepting payments and all you have to do is to write 20lines of codes. The team behind this product works hard in order to simplify things for their customers, and I really appreciate that.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I can’t think of anything I might dislike about this product. Because they really makes the whole payment process easy and painless. Even the documentation is amazing and the open source SDK. Sorry, I can’t really think of anything to dislike.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Stripe helps us to accept payments effortlessly, and it saves lot of time and energy. It provides back-end management panel so we can keep track of every API transaction and this is very helpful because you can track any issue. The product even provides exports so you don’t need to write manually. There is even an option that allows multiple entities to receive the payments and various user accounts and permissions in order to share various parts of management interface.
