Good for single stores, terrible for enterprise.
PROS & CONS
What are the best aspects of this product?
Easy for single restaurant or small chain. Quick menu setup, very little effort. Devices available are pretty solid, and easy to use.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
This is not for medium/large businesses. There is no enterprise-level ability to speak of. They tried, but it did not work well at all. You can only work with one store at a time but have to dive deep to see more than one store at any level of setup or programming. 3rd party integration is a nightmare, as their database is not consistent across the data set. They seem to have a lot of outages on system connectivity and credit card processing.
What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?
A true top level heirarchy of control across large enterprises. One menu, many locations, no confusion of items and plates.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
3rd party integration continues to be a bad point. Many outages and hardware breaks often.

The customer service is the worst
The customer service is the worst. No one can ever actually do anything - we've been over billed for about $1000, never can talk to someone in the billing department. Never can talk to anyone with any answers.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Kyle is the 4th representative in 2 years and is unable to do anything. They are now holding over 4000.00 in deposits and will not respond to emails or phone calls. Beware and stay away!!!

Unwanted full time job
I have been working on the service industry for the last 20 years in New York City.I open my new place the last weekend. Unfortunately one of my partners decided to go with Toast for our POS System.Rose Balderson was the person assigned to setup up the company, and Daniel Langan the person in charge of our training process.First of all be aware that that you will receive a box with a POS and you will have to setup the system your self with remote help (Not what they promise)Most of your support is out of the US (Not what they promise).You will also have to attempt to some classes online, setup at their convinience, and if you reschedule you get charge. Daniel was a total joke from the beginning and we end up opening with out live support.This company does not care about the restaurants, and don't understand that as a restaurant owner you have many deadlines before you open. You end up doing their work and basically working for them.
