"Perfect for EMI"
What do you like best?
The platform is very user-friendly and complete. The people that I've interacted with in the course of the last year for setting up the scheme, getting a valuation, admin questions when we were going through a new round, have all been very knowledgeable and quick in their responses. Highly recommend.
What do you dislike?
Some things on the platform I can't do myself, but need to requests from Vestd. I guess that is also to prevent people making mistakes and inform Companies House unintended.

What do you like best?
I love Vestd and I wish I had found it sooner.
It makes the whole process of issuing shares whether they're growth shares or ordinary shares incredibly simple. Everything is automated through their platform including submissions to Companies House as well as sending documents to the other directors and shareholders for signing which is all done electronically.
The customer service and knowledge you gain from the Vestd team has been top class and has made the process of creating our account to setting up our growth shares scheme a seamless experience.
What do you dislike?
This is a great platform and business. I can't pick up on anything I dislike yet.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend this company without reservation.
If you're an SME that's looking to give equity to an advisor (non-employee) without any risk and retain the ability to keep a hold of that equity if they do not meet the obligations of your arrangement than Vestd is the platform to help you do that.
There are many other features such as EMI Schemes etc. but the growth shares aspect is what I am most impressed by and what I'm currently using it for.

"Amazing shift from Excel to Vestd"
What do you like best?
We moved from paper/Excel cap table to Vestd and the process wasn't easy. I wish we'd have started with a clean setup in Vestd.
However, the support team were amazing and did a great job of completing our setup and we have been very pleased at being able to better manage our governance over time.
Not cheap, but very worth it.
What do you dislike?
Some of the Vestd standard paperwork (e.g. EMI option agreements) could be better, and uploading bespoke paperwork can be a challenge.
I'd like the EMI scheme integrated into HMRC as well (an HMRC limitation not a Vestd limitation)
I would like to see the cap table with options only to download equity investors as opposed to equity plus option holders
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start clean - dont move from paper/Excel to Vestd. Just start with Vestd

What do you like best?
Phenomenal service from the very beginning - far above what I expected and far above from what they sold on their website. The tool itself is intuitive and thought through. Gets the job done :)
What do you dislike?
I honestly needed to think about this - the only thing I could come up with after a few minutes would be the (non-essential) need for an app.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The added value to price ratio clearly makes it a good deal and lets you save money AND time in the long term.

Provides oversight on equity management for founders. Enables to take action (while being compliant). Ultimately saves a lot of time.
