What are the best aspects of this product?

For most systems, you will not get the kind of customer service Wagepoint has. The responsive is amazing with a 5 minutes maximum wait before you get a representative to help you out. They do not just look to solve your issue and move on, they help you succeed in using the tool for your payroll needs. In the process, you get to learn more about the product and save time due to the fast response you get for the issues you have.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Issues will always be there but it is how they are addressed, which either will keep you interested, or think of switching to another product. For Wagepoint, they have their customers’ queries in check. Every situation or difficulty you face will not only be addressed in full but also within a short period. With that said, I did not find anything I did not like about the product.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It has allowed me to save time which can translate to saving money. I can generate value for the time I save with this product. When it comes to paying of employees, I am able to complete these payments within a short period. I can use the extra time in more productive areas and thus efficient. For tax purposes and compliance, the product does this for us in a professional and hassle-free manner. We can file state taxes and remit IRS in US, as we are a Canadian firm.

What are the best aspects of this product?

Price. That is literally the only good thing. But if you need any customer support you can kiss that goodbye.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The customer service is Terrible. I would never recommend this to anyone. Run away.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

Customer service that was actually helpful and would give you a phone call back instead of only through email. Seriously, terrible company.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Terrible. Spend an extra 5-10 per month and go with a company that will actually help you out. I have done payroll for over 20 years. Ive done it by hand and have used other companies. I decided to try to save some money and went with wagepoint. BIG mistake and ended up costing me more. I had an issue on one of my end of year forms that needed to get fixed. simple fix. or should have been but getting a hold of someone that knew what needed to be done and then actually getting them to do it was a nightmare. On top of that they charged me $400 to have it done. Fine, I paid it. It was partially my fault. They were supposed to make all the corrections and make the corrections so it wouldn\\\\\\\'t happen again. NOPE!. Shame on me I continued to use them for the next year. Lo and behold the next year the same thing happens and then they want to charge me again to have it fixed when I already paid them to fix it the first time and they never made the changes. OMG I am fuming mad writing this review. They make me so angry, and I am not an angry person. PLEASE do yourself a favor and go with someone that will actually help you out and not try to rip you off and charge you twice for something.

What are the best aspects of this product?

It has allowed me to process and manage payroll for multiple companies with many employees. I can do this within a short time which makes work easier. For example, I manage payroll for about 7 clients with more than 30 employees which takes me lesser time as compared to other payroll systems. With such speed, I can find value in this product. Also, it enhances payment of the relevant tax to the CRA remittances for our clients.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It is a great tool with great user experience. Since we run an accounting agency, our clients depend on us to make sure that their payroll is up to date. Until now, I have not seen anything negative about the product as it makes our accounting simple and hassle-free and thus happy clients.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We have managed to manage payroll for our clients in the shortest time possible. Previously, we were looking to reduce time with the help of this tool and it did not disappoint. In fact, we are now able to manage ROE and T4 for our clients and thus meet their needs in full.

What are the best aspects of this product?

The tool gives a good user experience. Entering data into software is very easy and less tiring. Anyone can do this. The platform is simple which adds to how effective the tool can be. It is easy to get around the product and thus there is no learning curve. The customer service beats all as it is highly responsive and helpful when you face problems using the product. You get all the help you need and more to help you make the best use of the tool.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There are no negative things or experiences about the product. It works fine. However, they can do better in terms of navigating from one employee to the next. In this case, when you want to go to another employee in the same module, it takes you to the main list. This can be time consuming and disappointing. The developers can work on this for future upgrades of the product.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

The overall framework of the product is designed to be easy. Even an employee who is not tech savvy can find their way around with ease. It has a self-service page which makes all this possible. All employees love the tool, which is an advantage on our part. When you compare with other payroll systems, Wagepoint is much easier which means better payroll management.

What are the best aspects of this product?

The tool is simple to set up, run payroll and manage your employees in general. If you are looking for tool that has your payroll need in mind, then Wagepoint is the best that there is. Small businesses can find this product reliable as they will feel appreciated. The kind of customer service they offer is real and helpful. You get your issues dealt with and get to continue with the smooth operations of the tool.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It would be better if the tool could be customized more depending on the needs of your business. When it comes to preparing payroll for your business, you have to get it approved. The tool does not offer such a feature and an upgrade which includes this functionality would be helpful. I can process payroll and send it to my manager for approval without having to download it.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Flexibility in payroll management is what we got from Wagepoint. Initially, we had to write checks manually when paying employees which would be hectic. With this tool, we do not have to write those checks manually as you can pay employees over the internet. We can process payroll on the go as the tool is web-based. This form of flexibility is what we were looking and Wagepoint does it best.
