Helps my team stay on the same page
PROS & CONS
What are the best aspects of this product?
I am managing a team of twenty members deployed in four different locations. The task can be quite challenging since we do not always meet face-to-face. One of the ways we employ to ensure that the team is staying on the same page is conducting a 15-minute standup meeting every week. But it could be difficult to reach out to those who are from across the Atlantic.
Weekdone keeps me and everyone updated on what each of the team members is doing. Aside from that, this platform reminds everyone of the accomplishments and goals that is yet to accomplish on a weekly basis. It’s a great thing for a fan of PPP-s or weekly personal planning like me.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Not all individuals are fond of weekly planning so sometimes I struggle to get some members of my team to use it. It would be much better if the vendor offers video tips or any content that will show the usefulness of the software.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Communication within our team has become better and seamless.

Amazing whatever the size of your business is
PROS & CONS
What are the best aspects of this product?
Some tools are only good for small businesses, so you end up having to purchase another one should your business grow larger. This is why I really appreciated that it's usable for small businesses as well as large enterprises since now I can keep on using it no matter how large my business grows. I also really like its automatic tracking feature because it keeps me on top of what's happening in the company.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
I think it would be a great addition to the tool if they include a feature that tracks time spent on different projects. It's a logical next step that I think users would greatly appreciate.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
The program has made it easier for us to hold people accountable and responsible since everyone can see what every team member is currently doing.

What do you like best?
1. It helps me to focus on my weekly plan and pursue quarterly objectives.
2. It improves my productivity and efficiency by the specific index.
3. I can also look up the weekly plan and quarterly objective of my teammates and even the CEO. Weekdone builds up a transparent and open working environment.
What do you dislike?
Sometimes it takes time (a few minutes perhaps) to open each page of Weekdone.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I can clearly understand the core objectives of my department and the entire company.
I finalize my personal objectives and focus on my working plans.

integration with tasks already being assigned and worked within Asana or Teamwork
What do you dislike?
not much honestly. I don't blame the system but I have had trouble consistently getting others on board to using it with consistency, which undermines its usefulness.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
No regrets from me in choosing weekdone. I would always recommend people look at their own political landscape though. If the culture supports this kind of forward thinking, inclusive and transparent way of strategic operation, then go for it. If someone with more political clout thinks it's a bad idea or redundant, I wouldn't fight against that. Some of this functionality can be accomplished within your task / project management system like Asana, but it's not as easy out of the box.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Tools like Asana, Teamwork, and even Workfront all manage tasks, projects and programs or portfolios of projects. They scale up and down the "things to do" hierarchy but they don't explicitly address the "Why are we doing this" portion of strategic planning. Weekdone helps translate big picture goals, and the strategies chosen to achieve them, into your everyday work. I've realized the benefit of alignment and supporting prioritization.

What do you like best?
I like the fact that the company objectives can be connected to team objectives and individual objectives. This makes it possible to understand how each person on the team is contributing to the company's overall direction.
You can also change the value of individual key results. For example, instead of adding it up as a percentage on your own, you can change it to an absolute # like 50 or 60 and it'll do the calculation for you. This made it easier for us because the things we tend to do aren't easily made into percentages.
In addition to that, I can actually dive into each person's weekly tasks, progress, and motivate them a bit via Weekdone.
What do you dislike?
The only thing I'll say that was a challenge to us is the fact that it took a bit of getting used to for some of our team members. The way things are organized means it takes a lot of clicking and checking to make sure you've got all your quarterly goals set up properly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider blocking out time to fully understand how the different parts of Weekdone work together.

We were able to clearly visualize our organizational goals and break them down into component parts. This made it clear how each person was contributing to the team as a whole and adds an extra sense of accomplishment. It also lets you know exactly when you're falling behind and when you need to take corrective measures.
