The life time membership is a scam

The life time membership is a scam. They shut me down like clock work every year and I had to fight and get it turned back on. Then finally they shut me off and refused to support my membership altogether. The expensive lifetime membership is a fraud. This company would be a good candidate for a class action lawsuit!!

AUTO-RENEW SCAM!!!!!I paid for Whitesmoke for one year. I now have a notice from PayPal that they have auto-charged me. I wrote them and told them that they have exactly 24 hours to refund my money. No response.24 Hours laterPayPal has flagged this transaction as unauthorized. White Smoke cannot access the money from the charge. The money has been frozen and I should have my Credit Card refunded for the amount in 10 days. This is one of the benefits of paying through PayPal they have pretty stringent Customer protection policies.

What are the best aspects of this product?

Decent grammar software checker can’t say much more positive with this product.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Poor customer service. The software system stopped working and my lifetime membership was voided even though I paid for it. Called customer service and they were of no help.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

Better customer service or customer service in general since there was none

I purchased White Smoke on 2012

I purchased White Smoke since 2012 for a life time, but when I asked them to update it. They said that they changed their policy and I have to pay for it on a monthly basis. I had the old version which I already lost when my computer stopped working and no hope to even get it back on my new computer. They are not helpful at all or even have any loyalty for the customers. I lost my money! I don't recommend it for anyone.
