What are the best aspects of this product?

Yammer is a great way to break the ice among employees and create a better community where bonds thrive. It helps us be in the know of other people's successes and give us the chance to congratulate them. It helps us gain new friends from whom we can learn from or to whom we can impart our learnings so far in the company. Overall, it encourages us employees to have fun and socialize.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I hope I can adjust Yammer's notification settings so I wouldn't be pinged every time someone comments or reacts to my post.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Yammer is a great way to be connected with people from the team. It's like Facebook but with a more narrow and focused circle. It has been especially helpful in sustaining our connections during the quarantine and til now that we're compelled to work from home. We haven't seen each other for months now but we feel we are close in touch, thanks to Yammer.

What are the best aspects of this product?

With a very simple user interface, Yammer allows everyone, even non-techy people, to be able to use it effortlessly for sharing and gathering information.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

More than a year of using Yammer, I haven't stumbled upon anything negative about it.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I like how discussions are made visible for everyone to see. It allows us to take surveys for important events and allows wide-scale participation, giving everyone a voice on company decisions. I like how it can bring everyone together in a fun way.

What are the best aspects of this product?

Great for individual and group use. I like how it consolidates all messages, images, videos and whatever content anyone from the team has published in all conversation threads. This is helpful whenever the group would like to look back on certain important discussions which prove useful at the moment. In addition, it allows you to bookmark a list of sites and make it accessible with whatever browser you use. We can also give sub-groups pictures that serve as their logos to avoid confusion among which group is which.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Listing order functionalities are redundant and limited for customization. The search does not cover texts within documents. The integration with other apps like Microsoft is limited. Moreover, social media features are too trying hard and unnecessary. I suggest it narrows its focus on improving essential functions.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I have been using Yammer for more than a decade now and for various purposes, from personal use to business management and consulting. During the period, I have seen the app evolve to having more features that cut across various functions such as project management and work collaboration. While I adore Yammer, I don't turn a blind eye on its weak points which I fervently hope can be fixed and improved on.

What are the best aspects of this product?

Yammer is like a social media tool with more benefits. It is a great tool to enhance collaboration among different teams within the company network.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Our feeds are deluged by content that is really not worth knowing but it's more of organization rules really.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It helps in building rapport with people who may help further your career. Plus, you get to be in the know of job opportunities in other teams almost in real-time.

What are the best aspects of this product?

My favorite about Yammer is it gives a large room for customization which helps us streamline processes such as internal communications across all local branches. This ease in communication has allowed us to make coordinated decisions in a faster way.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Many consider this as just another social media platform but our company understands its benefits beyond this wider perception. I think Yammer must address this and eradicate the confusion through more decisive marketing campaigns.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

When used in conjunction with Microsoft teams, internal communication across the local network becomes a walk in the park. But since many think Yammer as a social media tool, not many users subscribe to it so we can't utilize it as communication for outsiders, mainly clients.
