"Three years experience with Exterro Legal Hold"
What do you like best?
Exterro Legal Hold is a first-rate Legal Hold Notice management solution best suited for large enterprises and those with substantial legal hold obligations. Our Proof of Concept highlighted critical features we require at Nokia - including powerful configuration options, a robust Compliance Portal for use by Custodians, a critical Employee Change Monitor module, and the Export Compliance option.
What do you dislike?
With configurability comes complexity, so training and support are important for best use of this complex product - and these have been provided by Exterro on reasonable terms. Even so, the built-in, industry standard text editor is not as intuitive as I prefer.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Exterro Legal Hold empowers us to compliantly manage our Legal Hold obligations through automation of many functions that were previously handled manually. Automated tracking of employee status changes and resulting notice made possible through the Employee Change Monitor help assure timely alerts that special preservation actions may be required.

What do you like best?
The new interface of Exterro is very user friendly. The tool allows us to keep track of all our holds and the custodians on them. The ease to look up information and generate reports make the transfer of information a breeze.
What do you dislike?
Since the upgrade and I have not found any feature to dislike. Most if not all the upgrade has solved the issues from the previous version.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Legal Holds. This tool has allowed to keep track of all our historical and present holds.

What do you like best?
The value offered by Exterro is unmatched in the industry. Exterro is very open to new ideas and takes feedback to build features into the product road map. We are looking forward to the partnership with Data Inventory and Jordan Lawrence integrations. This will be valuable to know where data is located within our environment.

The integration with outlook needs help.

The ingest session was too fast for someone who has never used the same.
